    Yeah I think the bike I saw was a VStrom with home built panniers, even buses would get out of the way.

    Needs more practise

    With panniers on, the BMW is almost 1m wide, so I just assume I can't make gaps, then I'm surprised and happy if I can

    Have only tangled the panniers on the ducati once, trying to get the bike out of a corner where a dopey woman had parked and boxed me in, hooked one on a post and flicked the shiny cover off

    Should have just scratched her car instead, and I suppose one of these days I should reattach it with more than just electrical tape...

    in my travels on the ol gs i have encountered three situations where clearance was tight.the first i fit through but with mm to spare either side,the second i couldnt fit but the (pub)table moved,and the third was similar to the video above a bump and a wobble but no harm ensued.I did bend the crash bar i think
