    Tazers

I see NZ Police are getting Tazers - and already Amnesty International is bitching about them

Just give me an extra mag for the Glock - then at least when I shoot and the bad guy dies I don't have to worry "whoops, THAT wasn't meant to happen"

I presume the police will only use these stun-gunnie-things on persons resisting arrest or who are acting in a threatening manner?

For sure! And it does not matter how focussed or how high on 'P' you are, you can't function if you can't make your muscles do what you want them to do!!

BTW. I've heard more than one larrikin say "next time don't spray me (with pepper-spray) just smash me with the old fashioned baton, I'm sure it can't hurt as much" so don't mess with that either.

Well you're obviously not hitting them hard enough if they're coming back for more.

Either that, or you've got a hell of a customer loyalty programme.
