Monza Gas cap adaptor question

Sorry if this should be in a different forum. Mods please move if required.

I have a Monza quick release gas cap that I want to fit onto my Bonnie. Problem is that this fits over a thred that stics out of the gas tank where as the Bonnie gas cap screws into the tank. Does any one know where i could buy an adaptor or even get one made?

Come to think of it, does anyone know if F1 Engineering is still around? I see he moved out of his old Premises in Te Rapa
