It is easier to accept the message of the stars than the message of the salt desert. The stars speak of man's insignificance in the long eternity of time; the desert speaks of his insignificance right now. - Edwin Way Teale 1956

I'm with Lou in not wanting to piss on your parade, but just because the court ordered him to pay doesn't mean he willHold the celebrations until you've got the loot.
ACC - It's where the Enron accountants all went.
I had a accedent about 3 years ago now, i was riding from coromandel to thames with some mates and we were comming up to a 35k corner and a line of traffic came around the bend and a prick in his BMW trying to pass them all!?!?! Only one of us made it, i watched my mate run into the bank and all i remember was grabbing the brake and then getting up to check on my mate.
The guy kept on going, but you cant hide a 5 series bmw with blue neon's in coro for long and they picked him up the same day, he pleaded guilty to carless driving and was orderd to pay $1000 to my friend and I but we never saw it, our lawers have been trying to track him down but no one ever answers the door when they go to serve him the papers.
He did 10K damage to my bike (a 5K cbr250) and 9K to my mates RGV, we only wanted him to pay for the cost of the bike's, were nice like that, but now we're out of pocket for being his bonnet fodder.
I would chase it up or get your insurace company to asap.
The main problem was that the guy didn't want to think it was his fault so didn't want to claim it against his insurance company. Now he has to admit liability he is going to. Alothough he wasnt in a good mood when I rang him asking for moneyOriginally Posted by What?
