    Top tip of the day

Cant afford expensive folding levers? Use a cable tie instead of that steel bolt, the cable tie will shear before the lever does saving you from finding expensive Ducati replacements. Saw this on a Ducati parked up next to mine today, clutch lever was the same so not just a get you home measure.

whats wrong with the idea that you have the pinch bolts just snug enough to stop the perches moving in normal use,but in a impact will allow the perch to turn on the bars?

Nuthin, if my riding history is anything to go by. Been spinning levers sinces eons ago. Mind you, Tubby has everything held in place with pins. Must be because of all the powa! Novel use for a cat strangler IMA

    Chain adjust tips.

Always check freeplay sitting on the bike. (or someone else on the bike,n you check the play).
Never just check free play unladen.

When setting chain clearance, feed a thin cloth onto the rear sprocket to hold the adjusters/wheel assy taught while you tighten the axle.
Recheck your clearance, and readjust. (remove rag after the axle is tight.
Hope this last bit makes sense in text, as seeing it done is the best way.

How long would it take for it to snap under repeated hard braking?
