Cant afford expensive folding levers? Use a cable tie instead of that steel bolt, the cable tie will shear before the lever does saving you from finding expensive Ducati replacements. Saw this on a Ducati parked up next to mine today, clutch lever was the same so not just a get you home measure.

This is a perfectly good idea and a very good thing to do to your brakes and nothing bad could ever come of this.
