    Let's try again:

    1. Please, could the mod who changed the original heading make it correct and remove that aphostrophe in HELL'S to make it HELLS

    2. This thread was started to provide some insight in to a time gone (60's) through the writing and the pictures as provided in the OP. Nothing else. There was never an intention to indicate if what the HA then in US did was right or wrong. Nor was this thread started to dicuss gangs in general.

I know this is KB and I know there is no way to steer the postings, so I will leave it at that.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

I've never been killed by a drunk driver, so they must all be good cunts by your logic.
you've got too far between the lines...meth dealers are scum cunts, just like drunk drivers. There is no relevance to the harm being personal, other than the fact that I don't know anyone that has been harmed by motorcycle gangs, he doesn't by the looks, and when I ride with other people, they dont talk about the harm that motorcycle gangs have caused them. I have heard plenty of stories about MM, Black Power, Killer Bees etc though. I know plenty that have run foul of them, I have had trouble myself with the MM.

Whats the difference? An MC, motorcycle club, could be Uylsses, knocking over chemists for denture fixative.... Or an MCC, motor cycle club, with international affiliations for the purpose of organised crime which is what MM, Black Power etc are.
Their is a world of difference between a social group, which the original gangs were & the modern incarnation which are criminal business focused but smart enough to trade on the lingering life style aura of the 50's and 60's.
I may have my MC & MCC arse about face, no offence intended.
Last time I rode down to Paeroa, a "gang" the name of which escapes me, nearly ran me off the road twice. Thundering past inches away. Second time, I was really tempted to put a swerve into the cretin looming in my mirror & play ten pin with them, but... Sense prevailed. I think they were patched up accountants & chiropractors letting the bad boy out for awhile.

Not even. Most aren't smart enough to be able to ride motorcycles.

Exactly. I was waiting to see if anyone would argue they are.

The early HA in NZ (first official chapter outside USA) had a business card - these guys were usually above average riders, with some mechanical nouse too, riding British bikes had that effect. They would stop to help people broken down on the side of the road...and hand them the card - You Have Been Helped by a member of The Hells Angels. I've seen the card. Gangs have come a long way from hooligans on motorcycles.

The smart ones get out of the gang. I've got a couple of customers from each gang you mentioned...genuinely smart cookies and actually funny/nice guys. The dummies stay put.
