Managed to have this experience without the shoulder chip. All I wanted to do was buy a new bike. Three North Shore dealers ignored me and after the third attempt I gave up with AMPS (three weeks later and still waiting for the "deal too good to refuse" from them...).
Starting to get a complex about the whole thing or do old people like me just smell funny or summmat? (my present to me for my 60th)
In the end I drove to Wellywood and saw Crasher. Top deal, great service and I got me a free bag! (oh, and the bike's not bad either....).
