Says the man riding a 300kg no ground clearance badly made shit heap?

I'm curious... do you think the way I say "Your choice of bike is stupid" is more or less insulting than the way you do it?

Merry fucking christmas, but it's alright, I'l just shop around for another well priced fury on the market....wait, damn I forgot were in NZ, where finding a decently priced bike like that without having 30000 people fighting over it because it is one of three for sale is impossible.

I envy those overseas market, almost makes me want to just import a bike.

I hate it when stuff like this happens, now I'll be a right grumpy tosser for the rest of today.

Anyone else have stories of being pipped at the post buying a bike.

I would love a harley, but they are priced too high, stupidly high.

seriously, if you like the Fury, but also liked the M109... go and see Mossy or get a test ride on an MT-01, if you like big twins, this WILL tick the boxes.

Haha funnily enough, I went and test rode a 2011 vn1700 voyager and fell in love with it. Currently in my garage on a weekend test ride, which if I have my way will most likely end up a permanent test ride haha. I don't own a car so am loving the luggage capacity and the ability to carry a passenger in comfort is good too. Never thought it but looks like I'm a full dress tourer kinda guy. Have to admit rocking the radio on the motorwat was fun!

Have to say I'm the guy that usually sneaks under other people that can't make a fucking decision and buys what they were still postulating about.

Last buy was for $50 more than the highest bid on trademe, won't enter a bidding war but will take your stupidly cheap offer.

If you want it decide then and there and tell them, you snooze you lose.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

I had a VN1500C BUBF (butt ugly but fast) they only ever needed the 4 speed box. I think the 5 speed one 'ruined' the feel... Loved the motor!! Just sadly I traded a Guzzi 1100 California for it... (long term girlfriend) didnt like the 'hard' suspension, so the VN came into my life.....
shit handling in comparison to the Guzzi! Did I say great motor??

Up untill recently been looking for a new bike. Sitting on trademe for hours at a time looking for that perfect bike, 400-600. Found one that looked pretty sweet, rang up and arraged to view in the weekend. Five minutes late someone has clicked the buy now. Ring up about another bike, theres a guy there looking at it, pretty much set on buying it. waiting waiting and then theres another one pops up, make the call, just sold, 10 minutes ago.
Almost felt like giving up on a new bike. But persistants pays off. Alot of frustration though, all the good bikes seemed to be in Christchuch.

I know they get slagged but really like the look of the Fury. Saw one on tour recently in Raglan and the after arket pipes sounded grouse.

Then again, theres always a http://www.cycleworld.com/olgallery/80757/80824
