Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!
Hey, yup that was me. Glad I put the knobs on, she was pretty damp out there! Definitely did NOT want to be on the road tyres with all the weight I was carrying.
One of the hardest parts was actually on the gravel back from Lake Taylor out of the area trying not to get blown off the road. She was pretty gusty.
On the way back out from the Loch I made a slight error and chose the low road next to the lake in one section as I couldn't remember which way I came in - turned to deep shingle and the bike had a wee lie down hehehe. All good though, no damage.
Glad I went in. Really enjoyed it, but damn it was cold!
