Damn. We'll try harder to live up (down) to the KB standards in future.

...i chose to wear my missus pair of pants today...they are Hein Gericke, cool pants on a hot day...i saw a Grebe on the river on my way out of town...i went to check on the country road bit that i mentioned to the op...it's still there and i didn't see a vehicle on it between Duck Pond Rd and Leeston...i rode there like a nanna and had an epiphaneous, life changing sequence of thoughts...like a smackaroo blurdy, they came from nowhere...my return journey was somewhat the opposite, couldn't wait to get home to see if my next project hasn't rusted out while it's been sitting on it's main stand for a couple of years...it was enjoyable to tootle along on at 80-100k on the way there...it was even more so to try and keep it at 120 open all the way home...rust is not an issue...

Methven via the Rakaia Gorge is a nice ride. Some nice relatively gentle corners in place as well as some nice fast straights and pretty nice scenery. Stop by the Rakaia Gorge bridge to take pics or have a sesh.
