    A New Year's Wish

That we all manage to stay upright this year, or failing that dont dismount with a red face while at a standstill

That we all manage to avoid the "idiot cager out to kill us".

That we all respect others on the road, even the idiots ( note to self, this one needs work).

Please look after yourselves this year.

Dont take uncalculated risks with your safety.

Enjoy being out and about, feeling that buzz that you can only get on two wheels.

Get that buzz as often as you can.

Go visit the ones that can not ride for whatever reason (there are a couple of lovely men with "old" at the start of their names that no longer ride I should really make an effort to go visit ).

    Happy New Year you lot!

    Stay safe, have fun.

I wish I get through 2013 unscathed and alive.

And do the same next year.

EDIT: And keep my sanity despite dealing with a multitude of slack-jawed, mouth-breathing lackwitted improvident bozos, foil-hat wearers and over-sensitive pC twats...(and then there's the same when I log onto KB!)

Here here! Well said Mom. Happy NY, look forward to meeting yourself and Maha sometime soon

Looks like the checklist I need to work through this year. But will fail miserably at, as usual.

Go with what you have. A bike that is familiar to you will be safer in the long run. (and probably cheaper to run)

I'll be quite happy to just get through alive ... I have a 54 year tradition to uphold. I'm reluctant to stop it now ...

Dont be silly, they are easy, or at least some of them are. I too will fail, on a few

That we all manage to stay upright this year, or failing that dont dismount with a red face while at a standstill

This one I can only hope to achieve, really, I can surprise myself sometimes

That we all manage to avoid the "idiot cager out to kill us".

This one I should be ok on, but you never know, I will just connect my spidey senses and use all my "skills" to ensure I do my best to stay upright.

That we all respect others on the road, even the idiots ( note to self, this one needs work).

    Respect...

Has to be earned, and sadly so many on our roads simply have a GET FUCKT attitude. It is really hard to respect them, this is one I will be working on.

Happy New Year J2! Much love to you and your lovely family

That's all very well. However it will go wrong. Just what "it" is, is yet to be revealed.
