    All I have ever had go wrong with mine is a reg/rec crap out,and that happens to a lot of bikes.I have thrashed the crap out of mine and ride it to work most days I too know a few xr owners and none have reported any probs to me and hell the sporty eng has beeen around long enough to sort any probs out.

    Yep. Less than 2000 made. You can find a few currently on sites in USA and even Europe. Priced around US$20K.
