    If we get National back in, sure there's going to be tax cuts (to the rich) but all the government owned stuff (for lack of a better word) such as schools and hospitals will all be sold off to the private sector. Just like electricity.

    Hi alarumba, I don't know how to do this quote thingy so thought I would try and correct one of your comments. Electricity was deregulated not privatised, the government now controls more of the electricity industry than it did prior to deregulation. Why socialists want to go "back" to the way it was beats me. Perhaps they really just don't understand. The government is making a killing out of the current set up. Cheers John.

    I noted David Lange has died ..I met him about 3 times and liked him a lot ..I have met others in the gonvernment ,,,been to the debating chambers as a guest ,,,had lunch in Belamys ( nice as it was free) and to be honest ,,,I wouldnt give ONE of them a responsible position ,,,,

    It really doesnt matter who you stick in there as ...the organ grinder isnt Voted in ,,,its been there for a few govenments now
