Was at Ryans on the weekend, if I were to start a rumor it would go something like keep the 17th/18th/19th January free, 18th and 19th being the Saturday and Sunday, 17th being the Friday evening thing.... but what would I know... people don't like it when I speak.

    eek Random Idea

Same course at the last few years but in the opposite direction.

All totally do able it would just make the awakino challenge section slighly more of a challenge
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time

I'm planning on taking the RT on it so I'm not sure I will need more of a challenge!

Good dates too Ryan, I can celebrate my birthday in Alexandra.

Don't think it's up for debate, also think R's busy then anyway and the 17th/18th/19th is the same weekend as the last several years.

Ahh - life outside of work. Forgotten what it even looks like. 70-80 hour weeks are not good for the soul. Anyway enough of my boring life.

So I've learn't one thing - I can't trust Transalper any more LOL. I've not checking in with any farmers re land access, caterers, locals re other events etc etc yet so please don't jump the gun just yet.

Plan of attack for the next couple of week is to get through some life changing work related stuff, then I'll hopefully get onto DB stuff. If somebody wants to start a thread over on ADVrider as well that would be great. One less task for me to do - can just provide the links. Actually if any of you would like to do some work to get this over the line, I'm open to the idea of creating an organizing team and changing the organizing model so that the DB1k can continue to live into the future (getting a bit tough for me to do this via the current model). Adaptive leadership and delegation are becoming part of my vocabulary at work so why not try them out here too. Thinking we can establish a online task list with instructions etc and pick up what we can. Community based organizing.

Got one exciting announcement lined up - keep your eyes open for an awesome opportunity to hear about the greatest motorcycle adventure. LOL - wonder how long it takes you fellas to figure out that - a day I'm guessing

    Cheers

This idea is not off the cards. Need to keep a couple of farmers happy so will need to change a couple of bits but should be reasonably easy to find new stuff.

Awakino even more challenging - now that sounds like a good idea [insert evil laugh here] Climb up Mt Ida (currently southern decent) would be pretty cool. Actually I have a plan that could see you running though that area on each day, but N-S one day and E-W the other. Anybody mad enough

    Cheers
