I remember seeing a WLA done in a Featherbed frame in an Aussie mag with a twist it had ES2 Norton cylinders not a fan of wobbly ol Harley's but is was sure impressive as is that cafe one.

For me the two quintessential cafe bikes are a Triton with a 5 gallon Manx tank fly screen and conical hubs.

Or a RD400 with a coffin tank and def no fairings TZ or not..........

any 60 Ducati or other Italian with a jelly mold tank is also cool.

My ultimaste cafe racer would be a Morini 350 with wire wheels and drum brakes.
but different pipes seat and tank. More like the blue one. But the tank needs knee cut outs.

There's a cafe racer thread on "perth Street Bikes" (an aussie version of kiwibiker) thats been going for over 5 years now , about 400 pages long, pretty much anything thats shows up on bike exif , dime city, etc etc etc will be on there it's a good resource.

Here's a CB750 I put together about 4 years ago but never quite finished , sold it to by a Guzzi (which I will never sell)

Is that the Continental GT 250? yip the factor attemt to cash in o the Cafe racer style 5 speed which was pretty special even if it didn't work or do 90mph it was pretty.
