the roads i think are down south and they follow the cliffs right by the sea.

Haven't seen the video, but I know Greymouth has got some sea side cliffs on the right handside of the road when you're heading south from Westport.
Video might have been recorded there.
BTW, that road would be serious fun on the bike, nice and twisty
