    Time for a change

    Hey guys!
So, my best mate has just got himself a pretty sweet job over in Brisbane and has asked me to go with him.
I have thought long and hard about this. Considering I have no family and minimal friends, (and definitely not fond of my job) I have said yes.
This means that I will be jumping the ditch in a couple months!
Anyway, the reason I have posted this is because I shall be selling the bike in the next month or two (try get it gone before winter) and thought you guys could give me an idea of what it might be worth. Now that it has been fully serviced and checked over and has new tyres etc...
Also, if anyone knows anyone who wants an awesome learners bike, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
Who am I? Why am I here?
    Forget the questions
    Somebody give me another beer!

Your bike might be worth about $2.5-3k. Good luck with the move too.

Wow, good luck over there! And you had just got that bike straight too. Sounds like you will miss the worst of the heat, just make sure you live on a hill out of the floods.

I hope you keep in touch, will you be getting a bike over there?

I moved over to Mackay in November 2012. Weird wet season so far this year. But more jobs around.

But don't be too surprised by the price of bikes in OZ. Even though the GST is only 10% here, bikes are even more expensive in Australia in $A than they are in NZ in $NZ. Sold my 2010 Suzuki Boulevard M50 for $NZ8500, would be closer to $A9000 or more to replace her here.

Saw a 2009 Honda Shadow 750 for over $A9000 at a dealer the other day. There was a 2006 one for about $A8000 something as well.

Up here in the mining belt, every miner rides a Harley. The Mackay Harley dealer sells more Harleys than any other dealer in OZ.
