Bring on the pictures !. I visited parts of Italy a few years ago for a month . I've always vowed to return on a motorcycle and tour Northern Itay and the Alp areas late summer . Visited Bellagio on Lake Como . This place comes alive on Sunday's with hundreds of the most exotic motorcycles you've seen , even factory limited bikes where the owner has dared to do further mods. Even saw a V11 Guzzi with extensive goldplating. The roads are something else as well and the Cops seem to turn a blind eye to speed as well. (Your speed limit recently went up to 150 km on some roads didn't it ?) . Bring on the pics.

    Curves and speed

Speeds here are posted in Km/hr but bikers consider it a suggested speed. We generally approach that speed asymptotically when it's raining with 140km/hr crosswinds.

The curves go on for a good 15Km on that pass.

Ok now that I know you guys agree (and I've figured out how to do it) I'll start putting them up whenever I'm in front of the pc).

Sorry for the long in replying but we have a lot of vacation here.

Must be biker signblindness raster, not one of those signs says 1 way, I can't believe you guys have totally different signs.

In order of appearance (going up the pass) the signs are:
    1. Begin of no passing zone
    2. Begin of 40 Km/h speed limit
    3. Road Narrows ahead
    4. In case of oncoming traffic you have the right of way
    5. End of all limits

    Arrow Spain-France-Italy 2007

Italy by all means, as long as it includes Tuscany.
So who's coming? I'm organising a tour to coincide with the America's Cup and the idea is to get a 40' container's worth of owner's bikes shipped over there and back again so that we get to hi-tail our own steeds. I will link in with members of the Voxan Club and may be able to get billeted some of the nights between the days when we tour those lovely French twisties. And as for the babes in Lyon....WOW. You dudes are lucky I forgot to take my camera with me.... 3 weeks in June was heaven. Roll on 2007 and PM me if you're interested in coming along.
