I didn't realise that 1000cc bikes only came about after fuel injection became the norm.

EFI doesn't make them any harder to work on... easier in some respects (hardware and sensor diagnostics). The diagnostic machine you need is called a 10 dollar multimeter from Jaycar, generally the dash itself will hand out all the fault codes you need, should you ever need them, which for the vast majority of owners is never.

    Agree about raping 250s though

Not technically an "aftermarket" rear cowl, it's a single piece rear from ozzymotorcyclefairings.com.au

I talked to Steve, the company owner, in great detail about what I wanted in my new fairings, made specifically for the track. Go on his website, he's real easy to deal with!

Haha will do, next time I'm out at the track. My girlfriend is a budding photographer, and she's keen to come to the track just to take heaps of pics of me on the bike! Next track day is on the 24th of Feb... :-)

(There are quite a few pics on my Flickr site, link is on here somewhere...)

Nice one, get into it ay. Im looking to get into some track ridding.. just need some more $ for gear. Would love to put the bike through its paces on a track, with nothing big and four wheeled coming in the opposite direction

Yup, you won't regret it! Don't skimp on good quality gear, I'm constantly on the hunt for new better gear than what I'm currently using!

If that's the ART day you will probably be trying to get past me laying in the track when I fall off. Will be good to see you and the bike again.

Nah spokes, it's the Big Bike Day Out. There's no more art days till April. And then it's at puke. But yeah, I will be going to that too!
