Haven't used them but that number doesn't seem too far off - I think I paid 280 for chch to wellington a few years back.

However, make sure you get insurance. Shit happens and when it happens to your new bike, it seriously sucks.

never heard of them. but i have used biketranz and they are about the same price as i got my bike from auck to chch for around $400 and it turned up super quick and didnt have a mark on it. so id say hit them up 1st.

Plus 1 to Biketranz. For that price you'd be doing well to fly up and ride back - It'd be more fun though

I advertised if anyone was coming from Auckland to Wellington with an empty van on here when I bought my bike in Akland.
One kber drove from karaka up to Auckland thn to somewhere ion the middle of nowhere to give it to another kber up there for a race. He ended up taking it to his house in Wellywood, storing it & then bringing it over on the ferry in his van as he was catching up with mate over here.
Neither of them would accept any payment for their kind deeds.

I have used these guys before getting a FZR1000 shipped up from wellington to Aucks, cost me like 330. Service is door to door and I highly recommend them.
