I think gs guy might have found the site and read the posts. He was backpeddling flatout. As a result I have a spare room in Stratford camp sat night. Wont be back online before event but give me a buzz on 027 2791331 if anyone needs a bed (snorers excluded).

p.s. Colin a new handicap system does apply so you'll need to strap a case of that excellent Sentry Hills port to the WR I'll buy a couple bottles off u in T'nui to lighten your load home

Awesome ride guys, went thru some country Ive never been thru before and had a great time doing so. Haha have you guys checked your airfilters this morning, I think the farmers will be asking for some of their dust back and by all accounts they are welcome to it lol. Great ride and all bikes performed well.

Thanks heaps for organizing this one. Even though I only did the first day, I think that I'll still have to empty the air filter box. Was the dust just as bad on day two?

It was great to meet you guys, looking forward to Taranaki liquefaction.

    Cheers

It was still dusty on the roads but the offroad sections weren't deep "dust liquifaction" like the road to Earnies. I had an awesome dust free run through Aotuhia Stn, but then again I was leading. . Dustiest ride I have been on.
    Dusty Butt, Nah.
    Dusty everything.
    Or was that Crusty Butt

    Glad you all enjoyed yourselves

To all those who came along and shared the fun a big thankyou I am glad that we managed to keep you all entertained, also very pleasing to have no buggers go home wounded Cant say the same for the bikes however That dust in the valley was something else Ernies and the Broadmore were originally planned as part of the infamous Liquifaction I am sure those who went on that ride and now this one will see why we left them out last time
My apologies to Al (dont know) for the wind up about the camp site, but really mate it was to easy a shot to miss
We could do with some rain
Although apparantly its a bit shitty around Makahu

Cheers guys for a great dirty weekend. Mostly went to plan far as i know! Would love to do that again with a lot more moisture and knobbys....

Thanks for getting me the port Colin, thanks to Elwyn we drank it 12hrs later......

Thought the XR had blown a countershaft seal but turned out Elwyn(unknown to me) was very generous with the chain lube, phew!

Sorry to see you go Brent but had a good night Friday at least. Cheers to Clint for the food run. (free beer to)

    Missed a few names(as usual)
