Just a little dirty today. Did a couple of hundred ks north of dorkland and a few gravel roads. Went up Rimmer rd to the sandpit for a quick visit.

Very well behaved front end on the gravel. The road was wet and smooth. There was no hint of front end slides, it just tracked true.

Well the most surprising thing happened today. I didn't take katie for a ride!!!

The wee got a good clean and I took some of my farkels off it. I'll start a retardme auction this evening for a good price.

Then I mucked around for a while sorting out how to mount the pack frame off the wee as there isn't one for the 1190 yet. After a lot of, what about this way etc, it was a whole pile easier just to mount it to the frame on katie. I needed to weld on a couple of brackets that took a while, some nuts and bolts and all worked well. I got #2 spawn to sit on the bike and the frame is just right as a back rest for the pillion too.

Agree, the lower pipe L brackets always look like a failure about to happen. That said I've never seen one brake yet.

    Looking very nice sir.

Let's hope the subframe doesn't fail instead

Them crazy Austrians must like hunting possums. Heading to work this morning I got a good view of trees, power poles and the sky tower all illuminated by low beam.

Bit of a mission to adjust the lights. I suspect that I may have overdone it and will be hunting worms close to the front tyre tomorrow morning.

So it failed its first warrant of fitness then. Or didn't come with 1? I thought it was mandatory and included in ORC's?
I'm no gynaecologist, however I would be happy to take a look......................

Nope passed it's first warrant. Will point that out at the first service.

The light is just a squeek too high still, but I can't be botherred adjusting it some more tonight. I did put on a slight extension to the rear guard as the tyre flicks road water onto the pack. Will see how that goes tomorrow.
