    Danger, Will Robinson!

Trader on Trade me selling brand new 675 Daytona/Street triple wheels, ( auction 562374825 ) refuses to answer the question : are these the chinese copy, or the real OEM Triumph wheel. The way the chinese do this sort of thing, you risk your life using one, they are cheap as on Ebay, was lookin for an extra spare to put an intermediate on, but I will NOT buy a chinese wheel.

Instead of answering the question, he allows the auction to run out and then relists and as yet has not defined in his auction heading, the manufacture detail. The same question posted on this auction several times by different people, without reply.

General question: Would you race, (or road for that matter) on a chinese manufactured wheel, availible for $300 on Ebay?

it clearly states "reproduction" in the text.

the header should say blah de blah "fits" triumph Daytona 675.

I'd say it's definitely not oem second line of the add reads " Brand New, Gold colour. REPRODUCTION. Includes bearings. Rotors not included." Pretty dodgy not answering questions though, would make you wonder about follow up service.

If the add says REPRODUCTION,,what's the fucking problem anyway.

What some dick head thought he was going to score the real thing for cheap,,,realised he wasn't so now it's the sellers problem because he doesn't respond to TM trolls ?

FFS,,,some of you lot really need to get over yourselves.

    Follow up service,,off TM,,,,fuck me

You can find that sort of thing on Alibabar. Safety & weight. . ..might be comparable. but I wouldn't put money on it.

Apparently the 675 wheels are a good upgrade for a Tiger. Not easy to find in NZ.
Don't you look at my accountant.

one of the VFR400 racebikes down here has an earlier Triumph single sided wheel on it: don't quote me maybe a T595? comparable weight as a stock Honda wheel but wider and fits the bike fairly readily (still a lot of work though)

Most of the aftermarket alloy wheels you see every day are made by the Chinese, it's not like they're bereft of experience.

yes agreed, some of them are. But there are little controls on any of the manufacturing base seeing a product & saying 'heck we can make those'.
