But I Will NEVER stand by and watch cowards attack people!...and no fucking way will I stand back and watch the popo be attacked by scum!..they deserve respect for the prick of a job they do, and certainly do not deserve to be attacked for doing there job!

So yeah mate...several beatings taken for them...but we won more than we lost!

...and I'm damn proud of doing it! (But my missus has told me Im not allowed to just "jump in" anymore...old, partially crippled and have kids now....but I honestly don't see it stopping me if the need ever arises again...Im stupid remember lol)
I can identify with that as I also have fought alongside cops in brawls when they have been outnumbered. But that was back when it didn't hurt as much and I was confident that I was helping the good guys. Now days I can't be sure. I don't want to help a rapist, bully or someone who falsifies evidence, so I doubt I would as I would first have to be confident that they were a good person.
Political correctness: a doctrine which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd from the clean end.

Sure, there are some bad apples in the police force (Met a few!)
But the popo have a prick of a job!, and deserve respect for serving there communities.

I have friends & family in the force...my Uncle was ex popo...dunners CIB, he volunteered to help out on the west coast during some big event they had on...his reward for donating his time and helping out?
...he walked into a bar and got struck on the head with a steal bar stool as soon as he entered....that incident left him fighting for his life and in a medically induced coma!...he could never return to front line work after that.
But what I remember of that incident was the amazing support the police gave to his family...they stood by him, and went above and beyond for there work mate in his time of need....that speaks volumes about the force and the people in it as far as Im concerned.

Some people hate the police...thats there call, Me?...I have nothing but respect for them! (altho I do like giving scummy & rastuscat a bit o friendly shit lol)
The police just do there job, they don't make the rules or the law, they are just paid (bugger all!) to enforce other peoples decisions...even if they don't agree with it.

Please, Don't let the bad apples blind you from the fact that most popo...are genuinely very nice people, who try there absolute best to do there job well, and serve there communitys as best as they can, despite all the shit they put up with.

...and bad popo, usually get sorted out internally ...nobody likes to work with a prick! (especially when they wear the same uniform as you)

Stay safe FC, and try to focus on the good ones...and just ignore the bad

All good Wtk. Yep, I'd jump in too if needed to help out. I absolutely hate bullies (plus drug dealers and terrorists by the way) the Cops are human after all and as we know there's good and bad but, if someone's outnumbered and being beaten up who cares, and knows for that matter about their background.

Anyway, I've just got back from my usual Northern/East Coast circuit and interestingly enough had an unscheduled coffee break (police checkpoint) in a place called Kaukapakapa. Apparently, there's been a spate of crashes up that way that they're trying to get a handle on.

Of course they did the licence, WoF and rego checks which after being entered in the hand held device provided all the info about me that they needed. I got shown some details and funnily enough, my photo was from my firearms and not drivers licence.

But all in all very friendly and I had a good chat with the younger one about motorbikes and cars.

No again but that wasn't the point
"Specials" in New Zealand have largely been used as strike breakers (Waihi, 1913 waterfront strike .. )

    For instance - go here .. http://www.teara.govt.nz/en/photogra...sseys-cossacks

Scabs, bosses lackies and class enemies as far as I am concerned ..

Yeah ... Naaa bro ... I got caught by the radios a few weeks ago ... the cop who spotted and clocked me was a long way away by the time I came round a corner to find a cop sitting waiting ... even a 'busa can not beat the radio waves ..
