As said, some bikes have cancelling indicators, my BMW does after 200m.

Granted, however being near the centre line was not in and of itself an issue. the lack of available manoeuvring space was, that means he was unable to drift move away from the centre line.

He placed himself in a place of danger ( as near as he could to oncoming traffic, The closer you get the higher the risk) as represented by the center line, without means of an exit.

    Its definitely a factor.

Personally, when I ride, I own the road, wont let any cunt box me in, and I take all the available space on either side.

I'm still a shit rider, dangerous as fuck, poorly skilled, But I'm righteous.

    Ah, yeah it was.

The on-coming vehicle made it an issue.

Well, only in the same way that being in front of an oncoming vehicle in the wrong lane isn't an issue, the closing speed is

    Yep.
My point was that it is entirely common to see a bike indicating with no intention to turn.
Subsequently, most people would be looking for something more than just an indicator flashing before pulling out. I know when I am on a bike I do not assume that any vehicle with it,s indicator on is actually turning until I see evidence such as, beginning the turn or moving into the turn only lane and slowing down. Just self preservation I guess

The indicators have had the self cancelling feature since the mid to late 80's so hardly new.

Best you stay away from the To clean or not to clean, thread. Over there if you don,t clean your bike before, during and after you ride, then you are not fit to be called a motorcyclist and your bike is automatically an old fucked piece of junk.

And there's just so much wrong in that clip .. apart from the fact that Josh appears to have forgotten to turn his indicator off after a right hand turn, and then forgotten to indicte the left hand turn .. but hey - rudgy players do not have to be intellegent ...
