would you pay 3k for this

hi guys...... im just looking for a nice 250 sporty bike. came accross this on trademe.

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/structure/a...sp?id=33386657

now it seems pretty tidy for its age. but of course a indepandent aa check or similar would really tell. if everything checks out do you think its a good price??

also can anyone tell me what the rotor thickness service limit is on these.

    Cheers

I seem to recall seeing this bike before. Its a good price for age/kms ect. But check condition and have a servicable techo check it out for you

Have a read of the comments in their recently finished auction.

    Hey there.

$3k sounds reasonable, compared to what some people ask for them, they are great bikes, i still love my one. I'm surprised it hasn't sold already.
Just need to keep an eye on the cam chain tensioner, not a major jsut a regular maitence thing. I'd want to ride it first or have someone whos knows there shit look at it.
Min thickness on the rotors should be imprinted on the carrier, mine is 3.8mm, but it could be different??

Good luck on finding a bike soon mate.
