    Motorcycles don't count as vehicles

At least according to the census.

Question 18 "How many motor vehicles (not counting motorbikes) do the people who live here have available for their use ?

I can't imagine why they would ask a question that deliberately excludes motorbikes when discussing transport.

As far as i'm concerned, if they wont count my motorbikes, I wont count my cars, so it will be a big fat zero vehicles on my form.

It is always interesting for me to see people filling out census/surveys frivolously then complaining when the government makes a policy that "does not match the reality".

Oh right, governmental decision making is based on info gathered from the public.

True in many respects ... under the heading of "Statistics" ...

Many of the various Local Body (not just Central Government) policy changes are based on the facts (???) and figures gained through census.

All the time, they just get really picky about what info they gather...

I have six bikes. One of them is not a race or dirt bike.
