Foreign biker planning to come to NZ

Hi guys im shehan,u cud call me troy too (y).Im from South east asia !
ill be coming to Auckland this july and already am excited about the country.i found this to be one of the best forums for fellow bikers .
I currently ride a Ducati hypermotard 1100 S and a yamaha R1,i have my own small bike business thing back home.

A few questions,I've got a few friends in italy who send me bikes and spares,is it possible to carry on this in Auckland,I usually get
Stripped down bikes in boxes (CKD CONDITION) used bikes,Spares from top notch bikes through a certain source in italy ,all in all the stuff is half the price of what you get on ebay or anywhere else for that matter.I would need some help though,its not a business,just relaying my options.
Basically a complete 2010 ducati hypermotard would cost around 3000 euros.But will be stripped down !Triumph street triples and so on .Thank you .

Anything imported to NZ over $400 (I think) is subject to GST of 15% so you will have to factor that into the equation.Still the prices you are quoting sound very,very cheap.
