Winners of the free Bridgestone T30 tyres are...

The final votes have been counted and we have two very deserving winners,

For the North Island the winner with 13 votes is Hitcher

For the South Island the winner with 14 votes is Willythekid

We will be in touch with the winners to arrange collection and fitting of tyres, thanks to everyone who has taken part.

Well done to both of them, Willy and Hitcher being deserved recipients...
If Hitcher does not wont to keep the tyres after a short preriod (cos has just put new ones on the Z1) I sure we can come to a small financial arrangement....

Many thanks to Dave McArthur and Jay for the oppotunity, I will be off the cycletreads asap to have some T30's fitted.

EJIT: Tyres are ordered, fingers crossed for this weekend.

    What a surprise!

Thanks to Eurotreads for the generous offering and thanks too to all of the KB members who nominated me.

Many members may know that I have had some previous sub-optimal experiences with Bridgestone's sports touring selection. Here's a chance to see if the T30 meets my standards for that class of tyre.

The current tyres have about 4,000km left to run on them and should be cut by Easter. They're a damned good sports touring tyre too, so immediate recall should provide a good basis for comparison. A bit of late autumn and early winter riding should provide some useful opportunities to see what these new wheels can offer.

    Thanks very much!

We are looking forward to your reviews too, I certainly am expecting the T30 to be very different from the Bridgestone's of the past, so hope this will work well for you.

If you don't mind my asking, what are the tyres you are on currently?

Just keep the bike upright long enough to wear the current ... and new set ... out (naturally ... not Kenworth enhanced) ....
