    Full license test - Passed

I had my full bike license test this morning. It took about 10 minutes; a bit of a ride around some streets, nothing complicated - one u turn on the main road just after a bend and no hazard identification. I made sure the earpiece was loud enough as I had heard that, fro others on KB it can be hard to hear them, that made it a lot easier.

I slipped on loose gravel just slightly on a bend in town and I left the choke half on which was giving me some throttle problems, so check that before you ride off.

I'm off to the council to get that gravel cleaned up pronto and pick up the XJ900 for a blat!

    Well done!
Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.

Well done. I had the opposite problem with the ear piece. It was working great, and then the volume suddenly went really loud, and it felt like someone was screaming in my ear each time they spoke. Painful.

Congrats. I heard the full was a very short test.

I swear I lost some hearing in my left ear after my restricted test. It went on for a good 45 mins, the ear piece was so loud, but it had to be to get over the wind noise on the day. Think I'll use plugs next time!

Congrats! Yeah I did my restricted test back in December, the day of the tornado out in Hobsonville... It was raining all morning, and he was asking me if I would like to do it or reschedule, it stopped raining for about 15 mins before my test started, so we did it.

I rode right through the main highway where lampposts were getting torn down and bins and pieces of wood and steel were breaking off houses and fences and throwing themselves around on the road... I am surprised the instructor never stopped the test! Very scary stuff, as it was my first time riding in real rainy weather! (Had bike since march, commuted to work every day with only slight drizzle at most)

Very very loud speaker, yet I think my instructor seemed to let go of the button too early, or start holding too late, as I kept hearing "urn tttt" and "turn ...." I turned the wrong way about 7 times during the test, but every time he would carry on a bit and indicate, I would do a quick u turn and get back out there, then over take him on the next correct turn and carry on... real laid back!

LOL The instructor probably passed you because if you could ride through tornado weather, you must be OK!

    Congrats, Shortie!
