    Did any Z2s ever make it to New Zealand as private imports?
    it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

    Doubt it as they were pretty rare even in Japan - but you never know...

    Another Jap home market rarity is the XV750E yamaha which is a 750 version of the US chain drive 920 XV.
    I know at least one of those is here in NZ.

    A friend of mine had a ratty one a couple of years back. Looked identical to an XV1000 (late tail section model) and rode okay. The starter motor is the weak point on them. Boy, did it make a racket when he turned it over !!
