    Cresting

Today i took my bike out to have a go around an mx track success.

On the way there heading west out if Te Awamutu (locals will know) and theres a bridge with one hell of a crest. Been over it heaps in a car and van. Thought it would be fun on the bike... that is the biggest wheelstand I've ever done. Even though it was accidental (kind of, I didn't think the 300 had the guts to lift the front in 6ththe gear).

    That got the heart racing!

    Yup. That's the ramp.

My favourite corner at the moment is at the start of sh22 near Raglan end theres an uphill righthander cresting to a left hander. Switching direction on a crest when the bike is so light is a bit of fun. Still wouldn't have the balls to do the crests in IoM.

Anyone on here familiar with the A66 in the UK? Crests with gouges both on take off and landing. I often had to turn around to do them again.

Nope, if you wander into town on Google maps then turn around to go back out you can clearly see the 100km sign

    Yup.

Loads of roads in Northumberland have been hosting FMX since before Honda made push bikes. The Gibbet Road, Hartside pass, the back road into Rothbury has a bridge I nearly looped my 750 over... just had to do it faster & faster didili... It never rode the same after that or maybe it was the hedge I went into shortly afterwards.
Alwinton Road (every km or so), the back road from Dumfries down to Kielder & then the twisties up to Hawick & over the Carter Bar.
    Ah, happy days.

Ah! If I can read the sign, I must be in that zones? Does that apply to my rear view mirror?

I remember the Manse street, Whangarei rail crossing with fond memories too!

I lived in Scarborough for a while and have vivid memories of the various trips up around those parts.

One route in particular which is imprinted on my mind was the Malton to Wetwang (I kid you not) road which had a humpback bridge with a tight right hander just after the bridge. Wicked stuff.
