and I reckon David Gilmour doing some early Pink Floyd would be awesome.
Problem is, Daltry's voice has 'gone' and Gillan's is nothing like it was either. Purple? only half the band left, no Blackmore!

I try to avoid going to see the bands that I saw in my youth, it tends to 'kill' the memory.. Rock2Wellington showed Ozzy as needing to go to pasture, Alice Cooper, Poison and Whitesnake were the real 'headliners'... Kiss? Well what else can you say, they were Kiss! I like em, they put on a 'show', but??
The one other band apart from when Led Zep performed in the UK, I would LOVE to see do a world tour is Genesis, REAL Genesis with Mr. P. Gabriel.

    Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1976

The Ramones any time from 1975 through 2000.

Never happen given that Gabriel and drummer boy can't be in the same room.

No Blackmore, No Jon Lord: thats not Deep Purple.

KISS look so fabulous but their songs completely blow. Seriously: listen to any one without the visual and they are appalling. Not sure about the Sabs. I ahve not bought a ticket, and it seems they have shafted Bill Ward. Poison and Whitesnake are not for me and never have been.

ZZ Top would be good because Billy Gibbons is a known motor-head.

And Motorhead would be good because Motorhead are fucking awesome.

Well since Waters effectively chucked him out of the band in, what, '86? its not surprising. Not surprising either that that record is called The Division Bell.

I dont know. I used to be a huge fan but now the only record I really play is PULSE.

Song for Guy, This train don't stop, Loves lies Bleeding, Your song, etc etc etc. Classics.

Trouble was, in the case I'm thinking, it was a Status Quo gig.
