If you didn't like the cops saying they had no sympathy for that guy, you won't like this comment from them either!

Earlier yesterday police brought a motorcycle chase that started in Rotorua to a conclusion in Cambridge shortly before 3pm.

Sergeant Paul Francis of Cambridge police said a motorcyclist, without a helmet, had been seen riding at an excessive speed in Rotorua.

"Staff pursued the bike for a short distance but then abandoned the chase because the speed was just too dangerous," Mr Francis said.

"He was picked up again at Tirau, again staff pursued him, but again the chase had to be abandoned because of the speed the man was going," he said.

The man was later seen in Cambridge. "Staff managed to box him at low speed on a grass verge but he then accelerated straight into a stationary police car," he said. The man suffered minor head injuries.

"The guy was an absolute idiot, we're all just very thankful things finished up with a safe, happy ending," he said.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

    I disagree.

If he were an absolute idiot, he'd've hit the car harder and done more damage, so I think we'll just have to mark him down as a "bloody idiot".

Seeing as how the thread had died in August, I'd say he's had plenty of time to heal the heel...
