Got to love that FJ .... My DR finally shit itself about 400metres from his house, Few phone calls to get his number , pushed bike under his lean too , went next door too the pub for a beer and feed , then he ran me thru to cromwell so I could hitch a ride home too chch the next day on a empty fuel tanker. Life saver

Yip, it happen years ago also, a young fulla from down south was making his way north, he broke down in Huntly...he called me, I was 40 mins away from home at a pub but called a KB mate and told him of this blokes plight.
He posted a thread on here and within mintues, Ixion had answered the call and got in touch with Motu (who lives in/near Huntly)..he went and rescued young Jack (Delphinus) put him up for the night and figured out the problem with his bike.
It all ended with smiles as I recall
