    mikey finally gets knee down.

Sucks having a proper job, you cant go out riding on nice days like yesterday, well i dont have a proper job so i got to go out for a ride. but for some strage reason i put leathers pants on, not normal for me on a mid week ride.

at the top of the takas i see weasel an nick come a flying up , an i thinks oh great someone to chase back down. were talking about how i scape my pegs an there low an stuff, an that if i ever crash weasel wants my forks an so on. then went down to featherston, got a snack an we headed back up.

heading up behind weasel an nick at a reasonable pace, (as fast as i can make my bike go) half way up the hill a meter an a bit behind weasel, i have my bike going into a right hander leaned over a bit, an the peg starts scraping (ground wasnt flat was lumpoy ish) an then really digs into a little mound on the road an the rear got traction again an i go flying over the bike an into the rock at im guessing under a hundred over 70.

but on the way i got me knee down. YEEEAH!

bikes a wreck. i got knocked out from going head fiorst an im told 5 cars drove past while i was unconcious, BASTARDS! then the rural police come, then ambulance, then fire engine, then anotehr policeman, then some little fire engine truck. an then weasel an nick realised at the other side of the hill something was wrong an came back.

so yeh, i think this is the start of my racing career if i can bend the bike back to shape.

Ouch- sounds painfull. You do realise that getting your knee down when crashing doesn't count eh? Otherwise you could say "Mikey got his head, shoulder, back, arse, forearm, elbow, knee and toes down"

Nothing good ever comes out of falling off. You either injure yourself or your bike or both.

So did the leather pants help or maybe they inspired you to push a bit hard and contributed to the off?

Glad to hear your OK but you will be hurting over having to repair the bike.

yeh false sense of security riding with leathers not jeans, but ive stil got knee caps so leathers were worth it. im still feeling dizzy from head butting the wall, ambos wanted to take me to masterton hospital but i had a biek to recover. thanks for the ride weasel!

oh an just as a note, the KNEE WENT DOWN BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE SO IT COUNTS MOFOS going to have the scars to prove it

only third partied so ill be doing repairs myself, although bike looks to be on quite a funny angle at moment, i guess thats what rock cliffs do to bikes though.

I'm glad you are OK man but... how about you take it as a warning eh? Those 5 cars could just have easily run over you! Slow down ....

    Seriously....

    Cheers

policeman wants to do me for careless driving, fair enough, wont hold up for a shit house in court though. very luckily i was two inches from centerline on my side, or thats where scrapes started so i wasnt in wrong lane, unlike rest of ride!

Thought this might be a 'Mikey" to start with, but just in case....Bugger.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
