I have to do that 2, that's where I discovered the r6 has a weak battery, lucky the driveway was downhill so I could clutch it.

Very very few road riders have the ability to control their destiny once they find themselves leaned way over with a knee on the deck, they usually find themselves stuck with lean angle and initial line untill they finally escape the corner or catch something nasty and crash.-the corner continues to corner and they cannot turn the bike, Unseen gravel, effluent dump from a stock truck, a sheep on the wrong side of the fence, oncoming car/truck ect ect.

Knee down, for the most part does not equal fast, it simply means you are carrying lean angle or have climbed off the bike in an attempt get it on the seal to "show" you are fast, time spent with knee down and or lean angle is time spent not going fast, when you have to buy the bloody things all the time, "getting your knee down" gets old! When you see a road rider in his bright and shiny power ranger suit, with scuffed knee sliders, think about being on the road with him coming around the corner at you.........

Most road riders would not know a race line if it bit them on the arse!, anyhow, proper race lines in the real world will get you killed if your luck runs out. Generally though, most road riders are not that stupid and save the extremes for the track days- except for a small number of sport bike riders and motardists.................
but knee surfing on roundabouts and in car parks is so relaxing. It shows you've graduated from buying them from "proper" racers, or from getting the knee down in a kiddies playground on the roundabout

I had one new rider tell me he was taught the "racing line" as the best cornering method!!! To me the racing line is more than 1 ambulance heading to an RTA involving a motorcycle driven full speed whilst straight lining a bend.

Bosslady, this is the best bit, and 'only' bit of advice you need, to enjoy riding now and in the future.

I'm not defending him, as such, merely playing the woeful maiden, which I like to do. And there must be something wrong with your eyes, not impressed at all, I'm indifferent. I'm a bit of a tard but no-one in their right mind would be impressed by being left behind like that. but I was, I started a thread about it, and am still waiting for the tissues to be sent. Not to mention the lack of respect for road rules and womankind, he acted like a typical geezer. I'd definitely have been impressed if he'd slowed down his pace so I could be sure he'd always give me a good ride, lame, but I was impressed by the bad boy. I did like his equipment though, very nice.

Don't take it so personally, Dear. I'm definitely not upset, this isn't "real life" as such, but you don't know me so that's fine for you to make that assumption if you wish. You didn't understand why I started a thread and I kindly took the time to explain it to you. But, you don't need to understand why someone starts a thread do you, people can do whatever they want that's within the rules of the forum, and I doubt you really cared why I did anyway. I'm not a child so no, I don't get giddy over boys any more like I used to maybe like 10 years ago or something... I wanted to go for a ride and by ride I mean on my motorbike, not on some boy Your comments about how you thought I was impressed, irrelevant - I bet you wouldn't have said that if he was actually a she (unless I was a lesbo). And, I didn't launch into a tirade in any shape or form. You are being too sensitive, I have no problem with you, if I did - you would know about it. I'll take your cup of sensitivity and trade you a cup of hardenthefuckup, sounds like you need it more than me? Don't take things so seriously, is all I am saying.

no, please..... Dont do the trade, reading both those posts? I dont think We (KB) need you to have drunk another cup of sensitivity

I have every intention of being there. Unless something unusual pops up at work or the traffic is poo, I should be there.

What's that? (suppose I should search...) I don't know where I am going to go yet but anywhere I go needs to involve free accommodation so trying to keep near friends/families houses etc, lol

Is that how your Wife treats you?
