Stopped to tell em' what was coming an mentioned that I had a T500 Suzuki and then found they were up an coming KB members when they both started taking the piss out of my old T.
So I said nothing but did stand back an watch them shit bricks when 100 young bulls came through the gate and went into fresh grass mode.
Funny as fuck and I always think of that day when I hear of Hondas fucking horrible CX thing.
Thats amazing - CX's can time travel? Wow? The last new CX's were 1983 or something and KB started in????

No worse than so any other bike with a bit of age up. There can be an issue with the high speed windings but MY '78 oldy still poodles along ok. There is an easy fix available from the states as well as a cracker Cx forum. The earlier ones had the advantage you can get them to fire if the battery is shot by just bump starting the dears. Also early the manual cam chain adjusted ones don't have the same issue the auto tensioned ones do.

Main advantage of the Cx (I've had a couple) is the shaft drive, relative ease of access for general maintenance. They are a lard ass but are as quick as a cb550f(I've had one of these since 1986) The CB550 feels more balanced of the two. Both are designed to be revved and not molley coddled.

If you need info on a model go to a dedicated forum for that model. You get more specific info from guys who own and ride these old scoots and not some crap from some wannabe.

    Very nice indeed.
For a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. Keep an open mind, just dont let your brains fall out.
