    The great inter island trip

More importantly, is anyone interested in one?

Long time lurker, decided to surface as I'm looking for Mr or Ms Right who is looking to make the inter island trip from dorkland to dunedin (or even chch).

If you have such plans, I have a bike that needs to be brought over and can serve as your free ride. Well besides the cost of petrol/ferry (negotiable).

Prefer well reputed forum regulars (oh the irony). Copy of license and a giant dose of honesty, etc etc.

    PM if you are keen.

    Cheers

I probably should've made it clearer: I'm actually looking at a few options. Mainly older pre 80s stuff. And there's some good options up around NI.

I'm trying to get the freight part of it sussed before making solid offers.

May also involve viewing/testing the bike (depending on willingness).

I know it's a big leap of faith but I'm a cheap bastard and this way saves me plenty of $$$. And given the price range I'm looking it, it's a tradeoff worth it imo.

Interesting. I'd suggest if you were to buy a tidy road-going classic there's be plenty of takers for a one-way trip south from up here, me included.

I take it you've priced bike transporters? I wouldn't have thought of that cost as "plenty of $$$" but that's just me.

    Subscribed.

Thanks mate. I'll keep in mind. Same goes for any other interested parties. Just shoot me a pm and I'll get in touch once I've more details regarding the wheels.
