Hero3 silver, sandisc 32GB class 10, Windows movie maker, No issues. Copies to PC with quad core and 4 GB ram.
Settings can be changed to dumb down the HD recordings if necessary.
No fog, hasn't been wet or cold enough yet.
Helmet mount (3M type) sticky as. And all off road stuff so heaps of bounce and shaking.
Battery takes a while to charge via PC usb tho'

Huh? It's a thread in the Off Road section. Do you want it to be titled "Which GoPro is the best for recording Off Road riding?"

A lot more dirt riders use helmet cams than road riders, would make sense to ask here.

Well yeah, its for me offroad riding.

Wouldn't use it on my road bike as once you've seen one road you've seen em all.

In theory that sounds awesome and for most people not riding off road bikes probably would be but I dunno how good they'd be in a crash considering if they broke, your googles would ensure google glass went in your eyes.

I reckon about 2 hours give or take. But turn it on and off and take snap photos etc.
At Tussock Buster I got almost the whole day out of it with stops etc.
Takes a while to recharge tho' via usb to PC or laptop.

Speaking of batteries, my first one (the original came with the HD1) just puffed.
Lucky I still have two to go.

I've just chucked in a Sony SDHC UHS-1 32GB card into my GoPro. Supposed to be mega fast. I bought it for $29.95 off OneDay. Sony has a RRP of $169.95 for them so it isn't a cheapy brand.
Sick of the 8GB cards running out halfway through the day. I'm not usually a fan of high capacity sd cards, but I'll see how it goes.
