Now that is what a bike shop should be like.

Spent hours in that shop when we too went to PI.
And they shipped everything back to NZ for free.

That would be a dark day for bikes if that was true.

Harley have for years tried to get us to go with them only. To tell you the truth Dave, I'd be very surprised if Garry and Steve ever would. I'd certainly hate to see Suzuki go.

Meh, Elizabeth st used to be a real bike Mecca. Yes Peter Stevens was pretty much the biggest & the cleanest run (well since I first went), but the others had a diversity that was a valuable addition to the scene in general. One domination is never the best. The rest are gone or a former shadow.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

FWIW The Team Moto group in NSW Qld are now the big retail player.
They have an outlet for most popular brands.
I think they own Morgan & Wacker Harley and BMW now too, but don't quote me. Pub talk.
Some are individual showrooms, some are mixed breeds.

The first time I went they were a few crappy little dives with some well dodgy bikes for sale and no accessories.
they have gone yes but it couldn't see it was a bad thing as I couldn't see anyone buying from them.
There was still the HD/Triumph/Can-am shop just off Elizabeth and the Victory shop up the top next do to the Ducati shop.
    Still way better then here.

AMP's is a good place to hang out on any weekend day if you want a giggle..iykwim

The Visual effect will include (sooner or later) the sterotypical 'arley owner ..Big grey/orange moustache (grey because of his age and orange because he still smokes Park Drive)
The leather vest/jacket with 856 badges attached from the 856 events he has attended over the years.
Can’t miss the Lion Red induced waistline hanging over the faux bull denim jeans which barely cover the 1970’s etched Tan leather cowboy boots.

OK - first I have no 'vested' interest (Geddit) other than all I see is customers - and I do get invited to lots of events.

Some of the squillion and one badged chain smokers are some of the most solid bikers I have ever interviewed. Harder cases than I'll ever be.

If you are going to bag lifestylers, make sure you do it for all of the dealerships cause there are dufus' (what do you say there hitcher) and good cahunts at all of them. S'all I'm sayin'.

    I agree...
This place is way to easy...no challenge at all...
At least Honda riders take it on the chin (pun intended)
