That's correct. There's about 220 odd kilometres between new tyres and track day so should be fine I think.

On a RAM mount but you can stick it in your tank bags clear top pocket and will do just fine.
Usually plugs into a cig socket I fitted on my bike to give it power - without, you get about 60 minutes before the battery runs out on it.

Failing that, plan your route on google maps - take screen shots of different sections and print them. You can just turn the page when you go through each section.

I have GPS on my phone, I get lost even WITH GPS (yes, with me that is possible). I also don't have a cig socket nor a tank bag, lol. I know how to get to Taupo no problem and Grashopper knows how to get to Fielding/Palmerston North so we're all G!
