    Days of riding are over

Well its been fun , riding has been a great past time and enjoyed every minute . but i think its time to move on . the cruiser scene has run its course for me . with the advent of commercial enterprise coming into the cruiser riding , follow the leader style events . while its was fun to just ride and meet great people and have pure riding fun is fading away. Most of NZ is still having that riding fun , Auckland has become home of event style riding and its not for me . So back to 4 wheels and lucky enough the dream of owing the car i always wanted has come true . Good luck with your riding and hope to catch up with the great people i have met over the years.

I remember seeing that 109 (lights forever) at Big Boys Toys one year..I think it set Anne on a path of 'must haves' for her bike..she drooled a bit to much that day.
Easy to get caught up with 'event' riding and I agree, it's boring as fuck if you do it often..I have just bought the bike that will allow Anne and myself to do our own thing rather than concerntrate on organising group events...One at both ends of the year is now suffice.
Good luck with the Mustang thing Baz..way cool car...no doubt.

Your approach to riding is entirely your own. If riding isn't for you, then you are better off not riding.

Your reasons seem a bit vague to me. No one is obliged to ride with 'the crowd' in fact motorcycling is all about being an individual and riding how , where and when it suits you. Just look at the individual responses to any topic on KB.

I've been riding since 1969 and still prefer riding on my own. I do my own thing and don't give a shit if my approach to motorcycling does not conform to everyone's views. If anyone thinks I have to hold hands with the rest of the class, they can take a running jump.

Best of luck with your future interest. As Maha says, its a nice car.
