Good for you. I'd do the same but the missus and son like the rugby to much.

I think sky has you guys by the balls, seriously all I read is:

I'M GOING TO CANCEL MY SKY SPORT!....after august the 14th so I don't have to pay a cancellation fee

I WOULD CANCEL MY SKY....but I want to watch world superbikes <--- this is the majority, sky has you seriously strung up.

If any of you were really serious about showing sky a thing or two, you would re-evaluate your television watching habits, realise how much shit there is on sky and cancel your whole subscription. You would buy a decent internet connection, buy a computer, plug it in to the TV and then torrent everything you and your family wanted to watch, for free, without adverts, 3 months before it even gets to sky. I admit live sports events are usually delayed 4 or 5 hours, but it's not like sky has ever done that, and this is free and chances are I'm not going to watch it until the morning anyway.

    Well,

honestly I don't care at all what SKY is doing - if you can wait one to two days you will get HD versions online for download - qualifying and race with no worries, best quality just using few GB of you broadband connection and I have 100GB per month so easy to get the right stuff

Even WSBK or Supersport would be nice to see but it seems that in NZ only few minority sports are worth to show in TV. Very disappointed

And for movies by the way it's the same story: much too late but then 100 times a month

    Just my opinion...

    Cheers

    Internet + Motogp

Our internet connection is too slow, so we will suffer the loss of no Motogp this year. I personally have been posting on any facebook page eg: Ben Spies page, motogp page, or anyone that has some relation to Motogp and I say.

"we don't get it in NZ" ... I don't blame sky... I just point out that I am not a happy camper. Obviously it gets a blank response... but it makes me feel better.

    likewise and likewise

Just what are we paying for? My first complaint got a glib "negotiations have stalled..." type shit and nothing has fucking happened. My subsequent enquiries have been met with silence. F*** me. I pay sh*tloads to watch the sport of my choice and Sky sucks up those dollars like a scabrous whore and then spits out shit like NASCAR and Darts and Netball. F***! I am so pissed with these assholes

You've got a point, Dave. But just thing I want to check: downloading stuff on these torrents I keep hearing about: it's not entirely legal, is it?

No, but if you want to stick it to sky it's the best way.
