No I have not. But if I need a Moto GP Fix, then I guess I will have to.

The video pass from Dorna does give access to all video as far as I know though.
It used to be frustrating when sky skipped the pre races and only showed the GP. Was that the start of the decline?
I also think the "no spoiler" tab is going to be a godsend. Got to run a mate to hospital Monday morning so can't watch til I get home.
Worked fine except its in spanish I think ???. The pop ups are just at the start and you click all the boxs out then streaming begins. Was a little jumpy at first but thats our modem. but smoved out. They have all warm ups qualifying and races but I will go with the prorper thing I thinks. Check it out on youtube how to use it. You can watch hundreds of live streaming events world wide. Try for free and delete if its not you. There are no pop ups while you watch though. If someone else has a better free view site, list it for us.

Just wait a week or two and Dorna will drop the price for the rights as soon as most of us have bought the pass now and sky too are playing the busness card in waiting for the price to drop. We suffer and pay throught the nose as usual.

If you have a decent smartphone you should be able to use that for your internets via wifi hotspot, bluetooths or usb. Just an idea if its only for races

MotoGP .com is the only way to watch this sport if you are a fan, you get so much more than sky provides...IMO
I would still watch the actual race via sky (if the show them) the picture quality is soo much better.

After my earlier issues not being able to see the videos at all and a lengthy phonecall to Vodafone, the vids miraculously started working. I can only think it was some kind of security block set up by VF but hey ho worked fine in the end!

SO I bought the 1 race pass (in the vain hope Sky sort out their sh*t) and was pretty impressed!

However, I would suggest you set the NO SPOILER link as your favourite, otherwise if like me you couldn't be arsed getting up at 4am you will see all the results before you've watched anything!!

I actually thought the pic quality was ok, I have a HDMI connection from my laptop to the TV and it ran fine on VF Red broadband, no jumping but I don't think it's 1080p, more like 720p but not bad!

Will probably bite the bullet and get the full season pass for Austin if its not resolved with Sky/Dorna by then!

And just thought I'd say; The Doctor rocks, still life in the old git yet, can't wait for the rest of the season!!!!

What I am liking with the pass is all the other videos. Last night I watched the entire race again, with their 'onboard' video. No commentary just the bike engine noise and key moments as seen from the various front running bikes. The start is interesting (the quiet) and the Rossi moment was closer than I thought. Watching Marquez from a following bike is awesome as well.

I'm thinking sky is probably quite happy to have no MotoGP coverage as they probably blew their budget on the v8's and regard motorcycling as a minority sport. As for them putting the price up for sport- rememember the price went up so they said to cover the cost of the olympics- it hasn't come down has it.

Yup. It has come down by 100% for me since this debacle.

Trouble is we can't flick them cos they still give us WSBK and I want that at least.
I'm hopeful we'll get Motogp yet once Dorna have hooked up plenty of 99 Euro subscribers to their site.

Sorry I ain't spending what amounts to $156 on top of my $100 Sky bill.

That is $156 per annum though, as opposed to $100 per month. I suppose if you like the golf though...

Per annum , yeah fair enough. Golf is up there with cricket and netball for me, pah.
Wife is quite willing to flick sports and the movies , I guess that would pay for the $156 ?

Sky Sport is $26 a month and the basic movies is $20 so you'd have paid for it in three months. I'd rather sit in my big chair with the racing on TV though than in front of a computer. Then again, I would rather try and spazz around with computer settings than not watch it all so I am giving them till qualifying for the next race before ditching Sky.

    I called them yesterday.
I was told they are hoping to have it sorted by the end of next week.
    We shall see

Three of the sports channels were showing live golf this morning.
