" Life is not a rehearsal, it's as happy or miserable as you want to make it"
I've noticed on a predominantly Merckan forum I visit now & again that they seem to have no trouble sourcing parts for older 2t's. Dirt & road. IT's, PE's, RD's, RG's, KX's etc. Some gawjus old twin shock Honda trailies kicking about too. A lot of leather gear is comparatively cheap. A mate in the UK used to pay for his holiday by bringing back suitcases of flying jackets from the army surplus. Came back with 4 Kirby vacuum cleaners one year.
I know a man who would give a left testicle, probably not his, for a front wheel spindle to sort his rabid PE 400.

+1 re Craiglist. I spend about a month every year in the States and while I don't bring stuff back specifically to make cash, I find Craigslist a brilliant source of well priced gear. My last trip I brought a great quality track bike back which cost me $630 usd and would be around $2k NZ over here. Best thing was it was only $35 to take it back as excess baggage due to special provisions for sports gear. I can't stress enough, if you are meeting someone to do the trade, choose a safe, public space to do the deal. Most people are good and well intentioned but better safe than sorry. Next time I'm over I've decided to bring back some fixie/track bike parts. Another thing would be to think about bring back some Gibson Les Paul guitars. $700 in the States for a Les Paul Studio and the same gat in the Rockshop is $1799NZ. Huge money to be made on Gibsons plus you can make some dude's dream come true. Enjoy, D
Rifle optics would be on my list.... would be looking at lots of sites re rifle bits especially those that give rebates to US delivery billing/addresses only
Classic car (shipping isn't to bad considering what you pay for a good car here)
Cheap Harley
yamaha R6 throttle tubes. 9$ there, 50$ here...
Ride on Lawnmower's. I guy I work with bought 25 ex demo mowers for $500 each. Most had never been started.
He sold them for $3000 ea. when he got home. It only took 4 weeks to sell them all.
He only needed to get 7 keys cut IIRC.
Or else bring yourself some bike gear. Its all cheaper in the states.

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
