I would say you will not only need to use the lightest springs, but may also have to increase the EXP wedge weights. The XT is a significantly heavier bike than the WR450. I found spring rates and wedge weights not such as issue if you are giving the bike death and riding hard, but when you are adventure riding and frequently riding slowly, doing river crossings, hill climbs, ticking along slowly taking in the sights; this is where incorrect setup is amplified and noticeable plus harder on your clutch pack.
