She wasn't on the ride that day. But it was definitely true. It was a mate of her then boyfriend. She is not sure of the exact story but it definitely chopped his head off. Badly affected the boys on the ride. 40 years is a long time ago and she could find out his name if she can contact one of the guys.

She was glad she wasn't on the ride that day. That would never leave you.

Back on Topic, I'm hoping Suzuki have a Gen 3 Busa on the way, no doubt with all the latest tricks, ABS, TC etc

Goes without saying it would have to be more powerful than the Gen 2 zx14, that means 165 Nm+

No bud, it never does. I first felt the weight of a human head at age 24.
I can still name the three young fellas in the car that went under a milk truck. I did many but that one in particular won't leave me.

Anyway Busas, I could live with one of those, I went with the K6 a few years ago now, purely for it's light weight and ability to leap in the air !!

I could happily see one in my garage! My personal favourite ever sports bike is the GSX750R, to my mind the ultimate road weapon!

There is strong rumours of kawasaki coming out with a supercharged hyperbike, though the latest zx14 may have put an end to those, but they have applyed for the relevant patents which means they have at least been considering it.

It was around September 1973 or 1974. Reported in the ODT at the time and a major topic of conversation at the Blossum Festival miniture TT, but I can't remember the exact year.
    Time to ride

It was mid '70's. I met Jill in '75. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Not me bro, mine is the blue/gold wheels, I'm in the browns bay area, I also have a twin riding around in Browns Bay with same colour as me also has twin carbon yoshis like mine, was like looking in a mirror when I saw him ride by once haha.

Also seen a white one frequently in browns bay parked outside one of the cafes.

Boo. Seems like there are alot of busa riders around though ay, theres a 2012 zx12r owner that works with me, still haven't given him a drag yet hahaha
I know the colour scheme you mean and in this mans opinion its definitely the best. I just ordered a undertail kit and custom guage faces for mine from Tim at PashinitBusa.
Would you ever consider turboing your ride? Im seriously considering it over the next couple of years.
