    Lightbulb Jap 2 Stroke Return?

Does anyone here think the jap brands that stoped making 2 strokes will bring them back someday soon?
I know the U.S has tight rules with emissions but if they cant have them atleast bring them to other countrys... To be honest i wouldnt mind a 2015 Cr125

There's no DI 2 smoke bikes, KTM and Husky have stopped their development and OSSA keep talking about their DI Enduro, but last I read they were only at the stage of releasing another prototype.

Rumours were Honda were instrumental in the demise of the 2 banger, due to not owning any significant patents, if this is true then I would be surprised if you'll see a new CR125 anytime soon.

In short NO they've invested to heavily in the four/diesel motors, the irony is Yamaha started the Four revolution yet are the only ones still making 2 smokes from Japan.
If you want a modern 2 smoke it's a Euro brand there's plenty to choose from KTM Husky TM Gasgas Beta Husaberg etc.

Er, something happened wit de bold. Never mind. Shirley Honda have patents for the the active radical tech CRM's? A pretty handy bit of design.

But yeah, na, yeah. Wistful thinking.

Best we can hope for is a wee Yerpean company to get bought out by one of the big four.

    Ning ning ning for life!
